BLANKOM SDE-265 IPTV SDI encoder is designed for TV signal distribution in excellent quality over LAN and the INTERNET.

The H.264 and H.265 (HEVC)  compression technology features low latency and low bit rates for IPTV/OTT systems. The highly efficient encoding chips save bandwidth costs throughout all its resolution range.

The BLANKOM SDE-265 is a professional, compact hardware encoding and streaming unit designed for broadcast, corporate AV, and live production environments. It ingests uncompressed digital baseband signals from a professional SDI source (such as broadcast cameras, production switchers, or medical imaging equipment) and compresses the video/audio payloads in real time into optimized digital IP transport streams.

The SDE-265 features a physical SDI loop-through output port directly adjacent to its primary SDI input. The primary purpose of this architecture is to provide a zero-latency, unaltered pass-through of the original incoming baseband video signal. This allows broadcast engineers and camera operators to route the source video straight to a local confidence monitor, hardware multi-viewer, or local production switcher on-site, entirely eliminating the need for external, costly SDI distribution amplifiers (Splitters).

The advanced hardware encoding core comprehensively supports both H.265 (HEVC) and H.264 (AVC) video compression protocols.
