Integrated Hospitality
IPTV Systems
One coordinated architecture, from programme reception to the guest screen.
Combine BLANKOM headends with selected middleware, servers and receiving/display technologies. IRENIS offers the defined system with a configuration-specific compatibility guarantee.

Live TV or an Interactive Guest Experience?
Select the service level first. A separate middleware server should not be added automatically to every hotel, residence or accommodation project.
Live Channels, Proportionate Architecture
A suitable BLANKOM headend, managed network and compatible receivers can distribute live television without a separate interactive middleware platform.
Add the Services Guests Need
Guest interfaces, information services, digital signage and hotel-system integrations introduce software and endpoint requirements. Include only the functions and licences specified for the project.
Engineer the Interfaces Between the Layers
The headend creates the television streams. The IP network distributes them. Compatible room devices receive and present the service; middleware adds the agreed management and guest functions.

Middleware, Server & Guest Services
The selected OMNISCREEN or PHILIPS-based solution components connect to the project network for the agreed management, interface and guest-service functions. Components, licences and endpoint support are specified together.
This is a reference architecture, not a universal wiring diagram. Middleware is shown separately: a live television stream does not necessarily pass through the middleware server. Actual media and control paths depend on the selected platform and functions.
One Proposal, Specialist Technologies
The project may use the relevant OMNISCREEN and PHILIPS components as alternatives or in an agreed combination. Both are not automatically required in every installation.
BLANKOM
Select reception, encoding and stream-processing equipment for the source list and distribution format. Headend capacity must reflect the incoming services and aggregate stream requirements.
OMNISCREEN
Middleware, server and receiver components provide the specified interactive IPTV environment. Required guest functions, endpoint support, integrations and commercial terms are agreed for the selected platform.
PHILIPS
Hospitality TV, management and integration technologies are selected for the proposed system. Direct TV reception or an external receiver arrangement depends on the exact models, software and required functions.
IRENIS
We coordinate the headend and partner components in the quotation and define their interfaces. The offer identifies equipment supply, configuration assistance, installation responsibilities and the compatibility scope.
BELDEN and DATWYLER cabling can be included where required. The active network, switches, installation and commissioning responsibilities must be assigned explicitly; they are not automatically included in an equipment quotation.
Compatibility Guaranteed for the Agreed Configuration
A compatibility guarantee is most useful when it identifies exactly which components and functions it covers.
What Is Covered
For a hospitality IPTV system offered by IRENIS as an integrated solution, we guarantee compatibility between the equipment, software and interfaces listed in the accepted quotation or system specification, for the functions and operating conditions stated there.
- Named headend, middleware, server and receiving/display components
- Agreed firmware/software versions and required licences
- Defined stream formats, interfaces and network conditions
- Specified guest functions and third-party integrations
Keep the Configuration Controlled
Later substitutions, software updates, third-party changes or additional functions require a compatibility review. The quotation must also define verification, acceptance and support responsibilities.
Content access rights, subscriptions and any required decryption permissions are separate from equipment interoperability. A compatible system does not itself grant programme distribution rights.
BLANKOM Hardware and Partner Software Have Separate Terms
Lifetime Licensing Included
Standard BLANKOM hardware includes lifetime licensing, with no recurring BLANKOM licence fee or mandatory BLANKOM SLA.
This describes BLANKOM hardware licensing. It does not make third-party platforms, on-site services or software integrations free of charge.
Platform Terms Are Quoted Separately
OMNISCREEN is a separate platform with recurring licensing and SLA/support costs, as distinguished on our TV Distribution page. The applicable package and current terms are specified in the quotation.
Any PHILIPS platform licences, services or support are likewise identified for the selected solution; no universal free-service assumption applies.
Plan the Complete System Before Ordering
Define the Service
Confirm channel sources, room and display count, guest functions and project country.
Select the Layers
Choose headend, network requirements, software platform and compatible endpoints.
Agree Verification
Identify critical interfaces and the review or representative testing required for acceptance.
Lock the Scope
Record the bill of materials, versions, licences, commercial terms and responsibilities.
Hospitality IPTV FAQ
Can you supply only the headend?
Yes. IRENIS can supply BLANKOM equipment for integration into another system, or quote a coordinated hospitality solution with partner components. The defined compatibility guarantee applies to the integrated scope stated in the offer.
Does every hotel need middleware and a server?
No. Linear live-TV distribution may use a headend and suitable receiving endpoints without separate interactive middleware. Add the software layer when the required guest services or management functions justify it.
Can existing televisions be retained?
The exact models, software, interfaces and required functions must be checked. An external IPTV receiver may be an option where direct TV integration is unsuitable.
Do all PHILIPS televisions work with every BLANKOM headend?
No blanket claim is made. Compatibility depends on the selected television or receiver, firmware, stream format, software platform and network configuration.
Must OMNISCREEN and PHILIPS always be supplied together?
No. The architecture may use relevant components as alternatives or in a coordinated combination. The quotation identifies which products and functions are included.
Are PMS integration, casting or other guest features standard?
No. Each requested feature must be assessed against the selected platform, model, licence and third-party interface. Features not listed in the accepted specification are not implied.
What should I send for a quotation?
Provide the project country, room and display count, programme sources and channel list, existing network, TV/receiver models, required guest functions and target installation date.
