SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) protects live video against packet loss and jitter on the public internet and can encrypt the stream.
On the sending side, SRT is supported by the HDMI, SDI, DisplayPort and VGA encoders from the HDE, SDE, SHDE, DPE and VDE families and by the EMU-8500 and EMU-9500 headend encoders. On the receiving side, the HDD-276 and HDD-275/275H decoders accept SRT, and the IGS-8008, BIG-1050X/1100X and HDM-9400 bring SRT into gateways and modulators.
