The receiving end of the chain: units that take a stream or a broadcast carrier and return baseband video to a screen, a monitor wall or a headend.
The IRD family covers single-service reception with the low-cost IRD-2000 and the IRD-6310, two and four tuners with the IRD-6300 and IRD-4000, and 4K contribution with the IRD-7000. For audio-only services the IRA-3000 receives and decodes professional audio.
On the IP side, the HDD-264 and the 4K HDD-275 and HDD-275H decode single streams or a mosaic of several, and the HDD-276 decodes and transcodes at 4K. The IGS-2000/4000/6000 converts ASI to IP and IP to ASI. For subscriber-facing installations the 6800+ set-top box completes the chain.
Mosaic output is worth checking before ordering: where an operator has to watch many services on one screen, a mosaic decoder replaces a rack of single decoders.
