Cat 5e is covered by the 1241D for outdoor and low-temperature runs and the 1667NH patch-type SF/UTP. Cat 6 solid installation cable is the 2131NH in U/UTP with a flame-retardant LSNH sheath. The Cat 6A group is the widest: 3331NH in U/FTP solid, 3367NH in U/FTP stranded for patch assemblies, 3567FR in S/FTP with an FR-PVC sheath and 3647PU in SF/UTP with a polyurethane sheath for mechanically demanding installations. At the top, 5531NH is a Cat 7A S/FTP solid cable with an LSNH sheath.

Sheath choice usually decides the project: LSNH for occupied buildings and escape routes, FR-PVC for general indoor use, PU where the cable is dragged or flexed.
