The BLANKOM EMU 8500 series MPEG4 AVC/H.264 HD IP Encoder is a high-quality HD audio and video encoding device. Furthermore, it is a streaming device, supporting UDP (SPTS), SRT, RTP, RTSP, RTMP, HTTP, HLS Protocols.

The unit has 8, 16 or 24 HDMI compatible video input interfaces and supports MPEG 4 AVC/H.264 video encoding and MPEG 1 Layer 2 audio encoding. This compact encoder can simultaneously convert 8 … 24 HD Video & Audio signals from SDI inputs to IP output as a multiplexed MPTS and SPTS IP output streams. Text, graphics or QR-code can be added to every video picture.

Its high-integrated and cost-effective design fits perfectly into various digital distribution systems, such as cable TV digital Headend and satellite digital TV broadcasting.

BLANKOM EMU-8500 is a IPTV Encoder family, which has HDMI, IPTV, ASI inputs for video channels and which can encode multiple HDMI inputs into IPTV streams, both SPTS and MPTS.

It is in a 1U case for 19 inch rack cabins.

To meet customer’s various requirements, the EMU-8500 can be easily configured over a web interface.
