The BLANKOM IGS-924 series is an ultra-high-density portfolio of professional DVB-to-IP gateways engineered for operator-grade IPTV headends. To satisfy diverse regional distribution networks and protocol environments, the product line features specific hardware variants: the base IGS-924, the IGS-924A, the IGS-924C, and the IGS-924S. These sub-models differ primarily in their integrated tuner front-ends and tailored software streaming extensions.

The series provides a massive capacity of 24 independent physical RF tuner inputs within a compact 1U chassis. Tuner allocation is strictly optimized per variant: certain sub-models are engineered exclusively for high-density dedicated DVB-S/S2/S2X satellite transponder architectures, while others are hardware-tailored with specific port counts for pure DVB-C cable networks or DVB-T/T2 terrestrial digital distributions, ensuring optimal link margin.

No. Every member of the IGS-924 product line (including the A, C, and S variants) is engineered strictly as an FTA (Free-to-Air) optimization gateway. By omitting physical CI slots, the hardware maximizes processing density, cooling efficiency, and multiplexing throughput per rack unit. Premium pay-TV encryption tasks requiring physical CAM hardware must be routed through specialized multi-CI BLANKOM modules instead.

Equipped with an advanced high-throughput switching fabric, the IGS-924 series can process and output up to 512 independent SPTS (Single Program Transport Stream) flows or consolidated MPTS (Multi-Program Transport Stream) arrays concurrently. Specialized sub-variants are precisely calibrated at the microcode level to sustain maximum wire-speed encapsulation without packet loss, even under peak transponder bit-rates.

The entire product family adheres strictly to professional telecom IP broadcasting standards, natively deploying low-overhead UDP and RTP transport layers with comprehensive Unicast and Multicast capability. Depending on the chosen sub-model (such as specific streaming protocol optimizations engineered in the A or S lines), transport stream packet packaging is calibrated to ensure seamless integration with downstream edge decoders or localized IPTV middleware.

Yes, embedded hardware-assisted BISS (Basic Interoperable Scrambling System) Mode 1 and Mode E decryption is natively integrated into the transport stream processing layer across all IGS-924, IGS-924A, IGS-924C, and IGS-924S frameworks. This enables operators to directly input hexadecimal keys through the web administration console to decode secured satellite contribution feeds without requiring external physical CAM hardware.

Every variant in the series incorporates a powerful transport stream processing matrix that handles real-time PID manipulation. Operators can filter out unnecessary elementary streams (such as secondary audio tracks or conditional access descriptors), execute exact PID remapping, and re-assign Program Numbers (PN) to optimize overall bandwidth and guarantee downstream compatibility with edge IPTV set-top boxes.

Yes. The IGS-924, IGS-924A, IGS-924C, and IGS-924S models automatically parse incoming PAT, PMT, NIT, and SDT tables in real time. Through the administrative user layout, engineers can manually edit service descriptors, modify provider strings, and adjust network identifiers to distribute a clean, cohesive, and professionally customized channel lineup.

Remote configuration, real-time bit-rate tracking, and tuner locking telemetry are managed exclusively via an embedded WebGUI using a standard internet browser through a dedicated, independent 100M Ethernet management port. None of the IGS-924 series sub-models support SNMP management, ensuring a highly secure, isolated, and low-overhead web-based administration environment.

All model variants are built for demanding 24/7 industrial deployments and are housed in a rigid, standard 19-inch 1U rack-mount chassis with an energy-efficient design. Detailed Ordering Guides on irenis-blankom.com define the specific hardware configurations for each model tier, including customized tuner matrix cards and options for dual redundant hot-swappable power supplies (AC/DC) to eliminate single points of failure in mission-critical headends.
