Transmodulators take satellite input and deliver a cable or terrestrial multiplex directly: the HDC-7004, HDC-7016A and HDC-7024A cover 4 to 24 tuners, and the HDC-6008CI adds four Common Interface slots for encrypted services. Where the source is already IP, the HDC-5004 and HDC-5016/32/48/64 edge QAM modulators and the HDC-5008T COFDM modulator carry it into the RF plant.
Live sources are handled by the HDM-9400 and HDM-9500 modulators with HDMI inputs and by the low-latency HDM-12220 with 8 to 12 SDI inputs. For uplink and contribution, the HDS-8440 modulates DVB-S, DVB-S2 and DVB-S2X. The IRD family decodes services back to baseband, and the IGS-2000/4000/6000 converts between ASI and IP.
